Yr Hyn a Adawodd y Llan

What the tide left behind

At low tide, Traeth Llydan seems to stretch forever. The sea retreats, leaving rippled sand, shallow water and great tangles of seaweed washed onto the shore. It’s a beach for wandering rather than rushing, picking your way along the waterline to see what the tide has left behind. Then the light catches the wet sand and, for a little while, everything turns gold.
