Down to the water
Over the wall, down the steps and past the whitewashed boathouse, there’s a little route around the bay that only exists at low tide. Time it right and you can follow the shoreline with the village across the water. Stay a little too long and the tide quietly claims the way back. Then you either wait for the sea to retreat, or roll up your trousers and paddle.
