Silver on the Water

There are evenings at Silver Bay when the whole beach seems to glow. The sun catches every ripple as the tide slips across the sand, scattering light over the water and turning everything gold and silver. The beach becomes quieter, the waves soften and even the old fort on the headland seems to sit still in the warmth. It’s the kind of light that makes you stop walking for a moment, just to watch.
