Hwyliau Coch
Red Sails
Every summer, the boats return and Trearddur Bay comes alive with sails. Race days have been part of the rhythm of summer here for generations, with little boats tacking across the bay and flashes of red standing out against the sea. Watched from the shore, they are as much a part of Trearddur in summer as sandy feet and days on the beach. A familiar sight that says, quite simply, summer has arrived.
