Gathering Samphire

Low tide opens up Red Wharf Bay and one of our favourite walks. We set off from Pentraeth, crossing the great sweep of sand and saltmarsh towards The Ship, gathering samphire along the way to take home for dinner. There’s always time for a drink when we get there before turning around and making the walk back. A simple little tradition, but one that has become part of summer on Anglesey.
