Before the Tide Returns
The walk back from The Ship has its own little adventure. At low tide, a narrow route hugs the edge of the bay, ducking beneath branches and picking a way across rocks still wet from the sea. But it’s a path borrowed from the tide. Stay for one drink too many and the water begins to reclaim the way home. It’s all part of the magic of the walk, knowing that by high tide this little path may have disappeared again.
